Everyone has ups and downs in their lives. Sometimes we need help getting through them. There is no shame in seeking the help we need. It’s the smart people that accept help and get better.
Today is World Mental Health Day. Check on a friend. Ask how they’re doing and listen. Don’t talk. Don’t tell them you know exactly how they feel. Don’t compare notes. Just listen. Sometimes we just need to talk it out to feel better even for a little while. Life is short. Live. Laugh. Love. No one is promised tomorrow.
