As my last Chirstmas music post, here is three hours of Christmas music to help you celebrate the day. Happy Birthday, Jesus, and Merry Christmas to us all!
I’ve heard it every year. I’ve sung along with it every year. DS was even kind enough to point out that this year is the first year this song is about me too (thanks, son). So now I share with you the very catchy classic Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.
Do me a favor. If I get run over by a reindeer this year, put that sucker in the freezer and think fondly of me as you eat him throughout the rest of the year. Comments are open below. Merry Christmas!
Sometimes iHeart Radio just knows what my heart needs to listen to more than what my brain wants to listen to. Today was one of those days when I hit on their Christmas Jazz Radio station. It’s been forever since I’ve kicked back with some jazz and relaxed, and I still haven’t kicked back and relaxed, but the jazz is helping a lot as I try to finish getting things ready for the fat man in the red suit to make his yearly appearance. And very little in the world of jazz makes me happier than hearing a good sax player. Thankfully, I heard The Brian Fields Quartet playing O Christmas Tree. This one is a keeper, and I’ll be looking for more music from this group to play the rest of the year too.
One of my favorite parts of Christmas are the redneck Christmas songs. In Fatopia a song doesn’t have to mention rednecks or be about rednecks to be a redneck Christmas song. All a song has to do to qualify is make me think of rednecks and BANG! it’s a redneck Christmas song.
DS introduced me to The Lacs and Santa In A Four Wheel Drive last night. This is one of the coolest Christmas songs I’ve heard in a long time. You can’t help but smile when you hear it. See for yourself.
I wonder if he car pools with Leroy the Redneck Reindeer to save on gas. What do you think? Tell me in the comments below.
