A Soldier’s Silent Night With Christmas Lights

I’d never heard the poem A Soldier’s Silent Night until I found this video while searching YouTube for videos of Christmas lights set to music. I am so glad that I found this. It touched my heart in a way few things have in a long time.

Although we have no family members actively serving our country now, we’ve had plenty in the past. Thank you to all men and women who give of themselves and to their families who make it possible for them to serve our country to protect us and our freedom wherever they may be called to go. Merry Christmas!

Traditional Christmas Lights

This Christmas light display is more traditional than the others I’ve posted. It’s not set to music and covers the family’s yard instead of focusing mainly on the front of the house. They’ve built a nice walking path through it, and encourage people to take the tour.

The video is short, but I love the more traditional feel to the display. It reminds me more of the kinds of lights I’d see around here if I could get out and about more.

Porta Potty Christmas Lights

These Christmas lights could only be found on YouTube (and probably your local television station during the news). This is one of the greatest light shows I’ve ever seen. I’d have totally missed it if I’d been puttering around in the car. Now I don’t feel so bad after all. You have to see this … porta potty lights!

Christmas Lights On Crack

I do not suggest watching this video if you have seizures or are not supposed to watch quickly flashing lights for any reason. You have been warned.

The rest of us, however, can kick back and let our jaws drop in awe at the Christmas lights on crack set to a remix of more traditional Christmas music. They jump, they flash, they do it all. I guarantee a smile from this one 🙂

Patriotic Christmas Lights

Oh yes, I love this one! Thank you to all our servicemen and women who have served and serve today. All gave some, some gave all. We can never thank you enough for all you do to protect us and our nation.
